Troy-Bilt Big Red Tiller

This troy bilt garden tiller is the one I use for my 2 acre veggie garden. It's powerful, and does wonders even breaking up the hardest soil.

Please know this is for those with a large garden. It will save your back, and you'll really be impressed how great this tiller breaks down the soil.So planting seeds in the smooth soil makes planting alot more easier. It goes deep also, and this is important for vegetable gardening.

If you buy the dozer blade attachment, you can use it for moving snow off of your sidewalk,or driveways.I use it for moving alot yard debris, suchs as dirt,or sand piles..and even have used it to move various types of brush. So it has more use than just using it to till up,and cultivate gardens.

It has a cage around the engine to protect it from being bumped,or damaged if you run into a fence,or something else around the garden.

You can use it to pull logs, and dig trenches too.Lots of different uses for this machine.

I use this one for also breaking up new ground.Even roots it will chop up.This is a power house garden tiller.

Get it up,and running..soon as ya get it.It has a 30 day warrenty on it,and customer service works great when needing to order a part, return one,or to buy an accessory for it.

I love this tiller, and so will you.Like I said earlieir,I have a HUGE 2 acre garden that's just for my vegatables. This is what this machine was designed for..Large Gardens..:)

I don't mess around with anything smaller than this one when it comes to my larger gardens. If you want a good gas powered vegaetable garden tiller. Then this one is for you.The Troy-Bilt Big Red 20 " tiller is a garden cultivator that won't dissapoint you.

Mantis 4 Cycle Gas Tiller For The Garden

For avid gardeners and creating beds. It's better than the old-fashion way using a shovel, and a rake.Smaller sized garden can actually be more back breaking than the larger ones from my experience.

I've used this tiller, and love it.I don't recommend it for large gardens though.Simple back yard flower beds, and small gardens is what this cultivator is good for.

It's a 4-cycle engine that starts up just after a few pulls. If it's warm out,a single pull is all that's needed. It weighs just under 20lbs and is very easy to move around the garden.Changing the times takes just under a minute, and easy to do.

The tines are VERY durable. It can handle the small rocks one may encounter when tilling up the soil.

I use this one mostly for the flower beds, and the tomato patch.I use it also for tilling between the rows, and use it for weeding also. It's really a nice model to use even when the garden is at its peak. It's nice having a light weight power tiller, with no cord when making your way around the garden.

This is a Mantis 4 cycle gas powered tilller.I'd recommend this tiller to anyone.

The only complaints tillers get is from those with rock hard soil,or those who claim starting one can be a pain.First of all, don't leave gas in it when it's stores for several months.Common sense, and secondly sometimes ground has to be dug up if it's a first time spot when it's rock hard, and clay like soil.In most cases not,but some people live where the soil is ROCK hard.

Soil can always be hard when breaking ground for the first time.Good garden soil breaks apart easier,so that gives ya an idea how much nutrients is in the soil.If you see worms..that's a good sign,of good workable soil.

Each year you use the soil,it gets easier, and easier to till.I use a variety of tillers, and all different models. They are all great to have, but if your soil is crap..ya can't blame the tiller.

Troy-Bilt Gas Garden Tiller

This is the smaller troy-bilt tiller that's gas powered. The reviews have been pretty good, and for what ya pay for,it's well worth it.I personally love this garden tiller.

I'd use this one for small,to medium sized vegetable gardens,or flower beds.

For those huge gardens large in size,I'd recommend a larger one with more power, and depth.

If your garden is 15 X 15..then this cultivator is for you,but as always, you might have to go over the ground a couple times.

I have also read some of the reviews where users complain about difficult starting.Obviously some people are not aware that gas goes bad after not being used for several months. This goes for any gas powered piece of machinery..(laughing)..So in the fall, make sure to run it dry...Till your garden up in the fall so it's more workable in the spring, and let it run out of gas.

Do you leave gas in your gas powered snowblower all summer?..Maybe that's why you can't start it in the winter..:)

Troy Bilt Electric Tiller

This cultivator got reviews that were awesome. For the price, you can't beat this tiller. This one is just as good as the fule models by Troy-Bilt.The tine is just the same.

As with any garden tiller, and if you have hard soil,or it's the first time working the ground in a new garden spot,You may have to go over it twice.

Other than that,no complaints on this tiller.I've used it,and tested it myself in my yard, and I have nothing but great things to say about it.

Make sure to get a good heavy duty power cord to it.It helps get the electricity to the motor all that much faster.(laghing).

The is a good one for medium sized flower, and vegetable gardens alike.

Take your time with this one,and go slow. It'll definately get the job done.

It's also easy to use,and light.Troy-Bilt Tillers are a reputable brand, and after 5 minutes of using one, you'll agree.

Joe Garden 14 Inch Electric Tiller

This garden tiller has recieved alot of good reviews.

It's light weight, and can also take a beating. It's really easy to use,and so simple to assemble.A couple screws, and 2 bolts..and plug in the electric cord. It's a smiple piece of equiment to use, whether it's taking it out of the box,or using it in the garden.

Electric tillers have really been quite the popular cultivator.Strating them is just a switch, and no gas,and oil to deal with.

I recommend this tiller for small,to average backyards.Great for flower beds, and you might have to go over twice if it's a vegetable garden.

The Sun Joe TJ600E Tiller is also known as the Joe Garden 14" Tiller..Same thing.

Hard soil can be a pain for any tiller,so it really all varies gardento garden. If you have hard, and need some good depth with your tiller, then maybe check out the other models here, and make sure you have the right cultivator for the job.

One more thing I'd like to add,is this tiller is nice to use all summer long in the garden. It does a great job turning up the soil just right between the rows of whatever you have planted.
